Craig - The moral argument

If we reject the theist basis of morality, we are left with subjective relativism. And what we call murder is committed in many many ways in the animal kingdom. We cannot tell the lion is wrong to commit murder of another animal - the lion doesn't even understand what right and wrong are.

  1. Hitchens earlier said murder is wrong because no society can function unless murder is considered wrong. The "society" of the african plain works very well with non stop murder.

  2. I wonder if this is close to what Dr Craig is actually saying... it's nice to see a break from the norm... sometimes he seems a little scripted. That's only because his opponents seem to ignore his arguments.

  3. interesting perspective! I havent thought about it this way before!
