He states "The question of God not only engages people on the basis of religion, but also on the basisi of philosophy. I will therefore try to engage Mr. Hitchens in a philosophical context."
Dr. Craig argues that:
- There's no good argument that atheism is true
- There are good arguments that theism is true.
*envisions Craig's next statements* I've seen so many of his debates I can practically assume what he's going to open up with but I'm dying to hear Hitchen's response and then Craig's rebuttal. Argh! Can't believe it was $98 bucks!
ReplyDeleteAnd there off...

ReplyDeleteAm I understanding this properly -- there was a $98 entry fee for this debate? Is this customary?
Tim: It was $98 to get a live video feed. I think it was only $20 to get in.
ReplyDeleteno, $98 to watch the stream online.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhh ... Okay, now I get it. Thanks! (Still puzzled about the entry fee, but Hitchens has to earn his drinking money somehow I suppose ...)
ReplyDeleteI have to give it up for the guys responsible for this site! It's not easy to post blow-by-blow accounts of a debate...
