The fact that the universe is heading for destruction doesn't show fine tuning.

The fact that our planet is the only one that can support life and is destined for destruction in the future is not fine tuning.

  1. I don't understand this argument. Many things are put in place for a time. Not forever. Fine tuning doesn't equal forever tuning.

  2. Most of Hitchens's arguments don't really have any bearing on the truth value of Christianity at all. He hasn't offered any positive arguments for his position. So far, most of his arguments are speculative.
